Thanksgiving Break

Wow, the end of the year is zooming toward us. The holidays are here, it's time for family and for gifts... I haven't even started Christmas shopping yet. (o.m.g.)

I have to take off this week. Family's in town, the girls are out of school, and, well, I'm sure many if not all of you are in the same boat.

I'm so thankful for you, writer friends, for readers, for family, for good health, and for having the freedom to pursue an occupation I love. Even if it can be crazy sometimes.

    My kids are out of school too, and my sister and her kids get here Wednesday. House needs cleaning, last-minute food shopping needs doing, I'm w-a-y behind in NaNo (#dontthinkIwillwinthisyear) and I have to go to a funeral today. I think I'll be taking a break this week too. Hope you're Thanksgiving is magical, Leigh! See ya next week!!!

    Have a fun break and good luck catching up when you get back..haha.. that can take a while. Being Canadian, already been there done that with Thanksgiving though, so yeah break = catch up that I know.

    Hi, LB....

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family.

    I thought about you as I whizzed by Indy last week. I SO wanted to drop in for a chat, but I had my brother with me and we needed to get back right away.

    Someday soon. We will meet and I can't wait! Try to come up to Chi town for Christmas week. It is quiet beautiful.

    If not, perhaps on my way back through in May...
