Argh!!! It's the birthday of French author Albert Camus, a Nobel Prize-winner who died in 1960 at the age of 46 in a car crash.
I was listening to a story about him on NPR this morning... well, actually, I tuned out half-way during the story (writer-brain!), but I caught a great quote before it was over.
It was all about Sisyphus, and Camu's essay on "The Myth of Sisyphus."
[Digression: I already knew about the myth from watching Party Girl, a movie that always reminds me of my great writer-friend (and former DJ) Matt "Rush" MacNish.]
Anyway, here's the quote:
Nice, huh?
Note: Camus didn't actually say that, the NPR commentator said it, but I still liked it. Just doing a little writerly sharing. (Y'all know I'm a former English teacher, after all.)
Now, what about this GIVEAWAY?
Want to win a copy of Watercolor???
Tiffany Talks Books is celebrating 5,000 "likes"; Go here and enter at **Prize Pack #19 (link)!
